Due to some requests from account holders, we have made some updates to the way that you can interact with Data Tables 2A and 2B. These new features will allow you to become more versatile in the way you can fine tune your reporting of these tables. These new features will allow some flexibility, depending on what you want to display.
You will notice a newly designed search toolbar at the top of all Data Table reports. Depending on the report these options will vary, based on the data that is included in the report. Below is information about each of the new filtering parameters.
This field will allow you to pick a specific point in time for funding. The date entered signifies a date between Project Begin and Project End. Originally, the report would search across the entire scope of a selected funding workspace. This field is optional. If no date is entered, it will behave as it did originally. The added timepoint allows you to dig deeper into the project scope.
“Fiscal Year” has been replaced by “Funding Workspace”. In a future release, we will allow the capability to upload funding at multiple points within a time frame. The Fiscal Year option limits the amount of data that you can upload, so we are planning to expand the capability to upload data the way that you want to analyze it.
In the meantime, we have updated the wording of this field in preparation for this upgrade. A drop down option will appear for every batch of funding that you have uploaded.
For Data Table 2A and 2B, we have added a drop down for filtering by Peer Review Type. Your options are representative of the funding “buckets”:
For every project, there is as associated project status. You may or may not be using this particular field, so we have included all options by default. If you would like to filter projects on these types, it is available now for you to use.
Funding can be recorded for all investigators within your account. However, for CCSG Reporting purposes, there was a restriction to just the inclusion of members with a designation of “Full Member”.
With this update, you are now able to render data tables for Associate, Former Members, and Not Defined. This will allow the flexibility to run the reports based on your needs. Often this data can be beneficial in making determinations on promotion for Associate investigators who have been identified as having ample funding sources to improve your review scores.
Some additional display options are now available for Data Table 2A.
These filters are available on all reports pertaining to Data Tables 2A and 2B. We have also added the Timepoint field to the Report Cards for additional data filtering to match the updates to DT2A and DT2B.
